Thousands march to India Gate to demand #JusticeForGeeta, Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari joins in

New Delhi: After 10 year Hindu old girl gets abducted, sedated and raped in Delhi large number of people gathered to demand justice for the victim.
A 17-year-old student of a madrasa in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, was detained for allegedly abducting girl from her house in east Delhi and raping her. The boy then proceeded to threaten her with dire consequences if she told anyone about it. The event wrapped up on Sunday and finally, the girl told her family about the incident on Monday.
On Wednesday, thousands of People gathered near central Secretariat metro station to join candle march towards India gate in support of 10 year old girl who was brutally raped in Madrasa and to demand Justice For Geeta.
Speaking to Ten News at India Gate, Protesters Said, “Shocking to hear of rape of a 10-year old in a madrassa. Justice in this case & others is the least we can do for these little children. But we need to work much harder to reduce rape. The impunity of rapists must end”
Parents whose child was raped by the accused also joined the protest. Speaking to Ten News, Father of girl said, “we only want justice for our daughter and the culprits should be hanged.”
Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari also joined the march and walked on Rajpath with candle to demand justice. However the act also gave ammunition to opposition who questioned the intention of BJP MP. Many were of the view that with Delhi’s law and order in the hands of Central Government, why didn’t BJP Delhi Chief request for an enquiry from his own Government.
