TRAFFIC ADVISORY-Traffic Arrangements – Lohri Festival on 13 & 14 January, 2018

Lohri festival is to be celebrated on 13,14.01.18 and pursuance to that a large gathering is expected to visit India Gate, C-Hexagon on 13,14.01.18

While ensuring smooth flow of traffic in and around C-Hexagon India Gate, traffic may be stopped/diverted in certain roads. Therefore, motorists/general public  advised to avoid following roads on 13,14.01.18.

2. Mathura Road
3. Subramanium Bharti Marg
4. Prithvi Raj Road
5. Shahjahan Road
6. Moti Lal Nehru Marg
7. Akbar Road
8. Ashoka Road
9. Rajinder Prasad Road
10. G. Marg
11. Copernicus Marg
12. Tilak Marg
13. Purana Qila Road
14. Sher Shah Suri Marg

General public/motorists are advised to take alternate routes i.e. Ring Road, Ridge Road, Aurbindo Marg, Madrasa ‘T’ Point, Safderjung Road, Kamal-utr Marg, Rani Jhansi Road, Minto Road.

Motorists/general public are further advised to avoid C-Hexagon and India Gate and its connecting Roads and Zoo, as huge public gathering is expected at/around India Gate on 13,14.01.18 afternoon. There is no parking space available in/around India Gate due to coming Republic Day-18 celebration.
