New Delhi, 21st June 2023: The sequel to the Netflix Blockbuster ‘Lust Stories’ is ready to drop. The movie features a cast with big names, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajol, Neena Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Angad Bedi, and Mrunal Thakur will star in Lust Stories 2.
Yesterday, the makers of Lust Stories 2 released four posters, one for each of the anthology’s short films, and said that the trailer would be released today.
As of Wednesday the trailer for Lust Stories 2 is available, whereas the movie will be available to stream on Netflix from June 29th.
The teaser for Lust Stories 2 begins with Neena Gupta comparing the human body to a ‘volcano like Mount Fuji’ that can only be satiated when it bursts.
The trailer then cuts to Tillotama Shome, who is stunned by what she has just witnessed. We then see Kajol and Kumud Mishra, in which he asks her why she fired their domestic helper. Kajol responds that she did not fire her, but rather left herself.
Following that, the teaser shows Neena giving guidance to Angad and Mrunal, “Ek chhoti si gaadi lene se pehle test drive karte ho na, so shaadi se pehle no test drive?(you go for a test drive before buying a car, so why wouldn’t you want a test drive before marriage)”
The trailer then shifts to the narrative of Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma, with Vijay asking her why she left him ten years ago. Tamannaah points out that he is now married and that this is inappropriate.
Kajol tweeted the Lust Stories 2 trailer, saying, “Ab violin bhi bajega, dil bhi dhadakega aur thoda lust aur bauth sara pyaar bhi hoga #LustStories2, releasing on 29th June, only on @netflix_in.”
Lust Stories 2 will be a group of four short film parts directed by R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh.
