Train mauls 3 Labourers in Delhi, One Survives Sitting Between Tracks

New Delhi, 25 October 2022: The Delhi police reported on Tuesday that in the Badli area, Delhi, three labourers were mauled by a train while trying to cross the railway line.

According to police officials, the information about the accident was received about 5.35 PM on Monday near KM pole number 13/25 between Badli yard and Holambi.

They further said that all three of them lived in Rana Park in Siraspur Village and worked in Badli Industrial Area, identified as Mohammad Hafiz, Mohammad, and Riyazul who were aged 19 to 21.

The three men with a friend, Mohammad Ehsaan, who also works and lives with them, had visited a nearby park and were headed back to their home, according to the police.

The officer claimed that the four males were pinned between two trains that were travelling on separate lines in opposing directions. The group was hit while Ehsaan survived by sitting between the two lines, he claimed, as they attempted to escape the approaching train and cross the tracks.

According to the police, the bodies have been moved to Subzi Mandi Mortuary, and their relatives have been informed of the incident.
