Twin towers hearing in SC after 2 weeks

The Supreme Court on Friday took cognizance of the various special leave petitions (SLP) filed in the Emerald Court twin towers case. A demolition of the two 40-storey residential towers, Apex and Ceyane, built in Noida by realty major Supertech was ordered by the Allahabad high court earlier this year for violation of building norms. The apex court has stayed the demolition and is now hearing the case.
