Two day #Haryana Global Investor’s Summit 2016 at #Gurgaon on March 7
CHANDIGARH/JALANDHAR : The first 2-day “Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit 2016” will begin in Gurgaon tomorrow with participation from 12 countries. A number of leading entrepreneurs from multi-national companies are also participating in this summit.Arun Jaitely,uNION finance Nunister would be thew chief guest.
According to a spokesman of Industries Department the participating countries are Czech-Republic, Japan, Mauritius,New Zealand, People’s Republic of China,Republic of Korea, Republic of Malawi,Republic of Peru,Republic of Poland,Spain,the United Kingdom and Tunisian Republic.Haryana CM Manohar Lal will deliver key note address and Union Railway Minister, Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister for Urban Development Mr Venkaiah Naidu and Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr Dharmendra Pradhan will also address the inaugural session. Also, captains of leading industries would address the inaugural session. Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Capt Abhimanyu will make a presentation on Haryana.
He said that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal would also address “Partner Country Session” the same day. Director General (South Asia) Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Government of Japan Seiji Takagi, Charge d’Affairs, Embassy of Japan Ms Magdalena Cruz, British Deputy High Commissioner David Lellioott, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Tunisia Jamel Boujdaria, Charge d’ Affairs High Commission of Malawi Lewis Mbilizi, Ambassador Embassy of the Republic of Peru Mr Jose J.G. Betancourt R, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Republic of Korea Cho Hyun, Ambassador Embassy of Czech Republic Milan Hovorka, High Commissioner New Zealand High Commission Grahame Morton, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and High Commissioner of Mauritius Jagdishwar Goburdhun would give remarks on mutual business and investment opportunities in this session.
He said that out of total 10 parallel sectoral sessions, seven sessions would also be organized on first day of the summit on March 7. Union Minister of Defence Manohar Parrikar would be Chief Guest in first session on the topic of “Make in Haryana : Manufacturing Competitiveness” whereas Haryana Industries Minister Capt. Abhimanyu would be guest of honour. This session would focus on automotive, defense manufacturing, Railways and Aerospace and ease of doing business.
He said that session-2 “Investment and Business Opportunities in Sunrise Sectors based on making Hayana an ICT, ESDM and Telecom Hub” would be addressed by Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space Jitendra Singh, Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Department Minister Rao Narbir Singh and Secretaries of Union and State government. Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Haryana Educaiton Minister Ram Bilas Sharma would address session -3 on “Education, Skill Development and Sports:Developing Human Resources to Realise the Vision of Make in Haryana”. The Session-4 “MSMEs : The backbone of Haryana’s economy” would be addressed by Union Minister of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Kalraj Misra and Haryana Industries Minister Capt Abhimanyu.
He said that apart from this, a session on “Smart Villages :Bridging Urban-Rural Divide” would be addressed by Union Rural Development Minister Birender Singh and Haryana Minister of Stae for Renewable Energy Nayab Singh. Likewise, another session on “Re-energizing the Agri Business :Untapped Potential of Haryana” would be addressed by Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Haryana Agriculture Minister Om Parkash Dhankar.
