New Delhi, 29 October 2022: Two teenagers have been arrested by the Delhi Police after a 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in Patel Nagar, Delhi for attempting to protect his sister from alleged molestation on Friday.
The police were informed at 9:22 p.m. about the incident and CCTV footage has also been recovered. The victim has been identified as Manoj Kumar Negi.
In the CCTV video, Two young boys were seen repeatedly stabbing the victim as they attacked him with knives. The victim was discovered with the knife close to his spinal cord a short while later.
While the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shweta Chauhan said the victim was from Kumau Gali in Baljeet Nagar and was rushed to Sardar Patel Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Both of the attackers, who are minors, were caught, and the crime’s weapon was found.
A case has been filed and charged under murder and common intention, based on the statement of the father. Police stated that an additional investigation is being conducted.
