Two youths ran over by truck, 1 dead

Ghaziabad, Jul 25 (PTI) A youth was killed and another injured after a speeding truck ran over them near Hapur road trisection here, police said today.

The accident took place last night when Vijay Rajput and Anil were returning home and were hit by the truck, SP (city) Salman Taj Patil said.

They were rushed to the district hospital where Anil was declared brought dead by the doctors, while Vijay was referred to GTB hospital in Delhi, he said.

In a separate incident, a 20-year-old railway clerk allegedly committed suicide at her residence in the railway colony here.
Her body found hanging from the ceiling fan this morning. No suicide note was recovered from the spot, Patil said.
Bodies in both the incidents have been sent for post mortem, the SP said. PTI CORR ASV ZMN ASV
