Under-construction building collapses in Delhi, three injured

Delhi, Sept 9th, 2022: An under-construction building collapsed on Friday morning in North Delhi’s Azad Market area. Three were hospitalized whereas five people were gravely injured.

It was a four-storey building in the Sheesh Mahal area of Azad Market. The entire site was reduced to rubble and steel bars.

Delhi Fire Service is said to have reached the spot.

Taking cognisance of the incident, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a tweet said, “This accident is extremely saddening. Relief and rescue work is going on and I am taking the information from the district administration.”

According to reports from the Fire Department, the incident took place at around 8.30 am today morning.
