Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s one of most ambitious campaigns. Through this campaign PM Modi is continuously trying to promote the importance of cleanliness all over India.
However two of his renowned MP’s one of whom also happens to be a Union Minister made mockery of his dream initiative through two independent incidents on the same day.
Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh was seen urinating on a wall next to National Highway 28 near Pipra in Bihar. Flanked by two armed guards, the sight of a Union Minister urinating openly in a public space drew severe criticism from all quarters of people. While opposition leaders left no chance to criticize him on this not so normal act, general public also trolled the minister badly on social media.
However he couldn’t steal the complete limelight of criticism as hundreds of kilometers away his Parliamentary colleague MP Meenakshi Lekhi landed herself in a bit of embarrassing situation herself. During an event in Delhi Meenakshi Lekhi failed to spell “Swachh Bharat” correctly in Hindi.
The picture of her writing the wrong message also went viral on the internet. While writing a six word message she could only manage to write her name and Bharat with correct spelling.
