UP colleges, universities shut till Jan 16 amid Covid surge

Lucknow, 9th Jan, 2022: After announcing closure of schools amid surge in Covid-19, UP Govt on Saturday ordered universities and institutes to remain shut from 10th January to 16th, 2022.

During this period, the higher educational institutions, colleges and universities are allowed to conduct online classes only. No offline classes would be conducted till the mentioned date.

The order says that examinations underway in universities or colleges will be held as per schedule though Covid appropriate behavior must be followed.
