UP Polls: Alike first two phases, bumper voting will be done in the 3rd phase too, says UP BJP Chief

February 20, Lucknow: Amid the third phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls today (Sunday), UP BJP Chief Swatantra Dev Singh claimed that in the first two phases bumper voting was done and same will be done in the 3rd phase too. “BJP will form the govt with an overwhelming majority.”

He also said that today there is rule of law in the UP. So, women are going to do bumper voting. “Today there is rule of law in the state. So, women are going to do bumper voting. In first two phases bumper voting was done, same will be done in the 3rd phase too. We will form the govt with an overwhelming majority.”

Further, he casted his vote at a polling booth in Orai of Jalaun district in UP.

After casting his vote he said, “We should vote for development. Voting being done for able leadership & rule of law.”

People have been living happily & peacefully for the last 5 years, the UP BJP Chief Singh added.

In the third phase of the Uttar Pradesh polls, 59 assembly seats across 16 districts are being contested.

Over 2.16 crore voters are eligible to exercise their right to vote at 25,794 polling places & 15,557 polling stations in the third phase of Assembly elections.
