#UPPCL Answer Key 2016 For AE, JE And Technician Exam Held On 13 Nov
UPPCL Answer key 2016 for Junior Engineer, Assistant Engineer and Technician Grade 2 exam held on 11, 12 & 13 November is expected to be released tomorrow. Check below for more information.
UPPCL has concluded the examination process for filling around 3,127 posts of Assistant Engineer (Trainee), Junior Engineer (Trainee) and Technician Grade-II (Trainee). The answer keys of the computer based exam held on November 11, 12 & 13 is expected to be released on 15 November at the official website www.uppcl.org.
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited had issued three separate notifications on October 10, 2016, to fill Assistant Engineer (Trainee), JE (Trainee) and Technician Grade-II vacancies. The break-up of vacancies is : 270 posts of Assistant Engineer (Trainee) – Electrical, Computer Science, Tele-Communication & Civil in UPPCL and TRANSCO; 580 posts of Junior Engineer (Trainee) – Electrical & Civil in UPPCL, UPPTCL (Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited) and 2,277 posts of Technician Grade-II – Electrical (Trainee) in UPPCL and UPPTCL. The computer based test for these posts has been successfully conducted as per the schedule at test centres in Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut and Varanasi.
UPPCL AE Exam : The exam for Assistant Engineer posts consisted for 200 questions, out of which 150 questions were asked from Bachelor Engineering curriculum while remaining 50 questions were distributed as 20 questions each for General Knowledge/Awareness and Reasoning and 10 questions on General Hindi. Each questions carries 1 mark and 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The candidates are required to score minimum 30 percent marks in the exam and will be called for interview based on the merit list. The interviews will be held at Lucknow only.
UPPCL JE Exam : The final selection to Junior Engineer (Trainee) posts would be done only on the basis of the written exam. The test had 200 questions, each question carrying 1 mark. 150 questions were based on Diploma level, 20 questions on General Knowledge/Awareness, 20 questions on Reasoning and 10 questions on General Hindi. The test also carries the provision of negative marking, 1/4 mark to be deducted for each wrong answer. The Corporation would prepare the merit list for selection on the basis of written test only.
UPPCL Technician Exam : The Technician exam consisted of two sections. Section 1 had 50 questions to test the Computer Knowledge of applicants (based on DOEACC CCC Level). Section 2 had 150 questions distributed among General Hindi, General Knowledge/Awareness and Technical Knowledge. The candidates are required to obtain minimum 25 marks in Section 1 and the questions in Section 2 would only be checked for those candidates who qualify Section 1. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of Section 2 only.
UPPCL Answer Key of AE, JE and Technician Exam : The Corporation is expected to release the provisional answer key of these exams within next 2 days. The candidates would also be able to submit the objections against the answer key and the final answer key will be prepared by the Corporation based upon which the result will be announced.
