#UttarPradeshAssemblyElection Results Leads 2017 : BJP’s Parliamentary board meeting may decide on UP CM today

The 2017 Assembly Election results were unveiled today and all eyes were on Uttar Pradesh where Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party was drubbed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) despite joining hands with the Congress. It was a big day for the BJP as it has finally been able to break the deadlock in Uttar Pradesh. The party has won 325 seats which is a record for it . The last time BJP managed to get a 2/3rd majority was in 1991 when it got 221 seats at the height of Ram Janam Bhoomi movement. In 2012, Samajwadi Party got a clear mandate by winning 224 seats while Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party finished second with 80 seats.
