VHP leader Surendra Jain blames PDP government over Amaranth Yatra Attack

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Surendra Jain on Wednesday attacked the Mehbooba Mufti led government in Jammu and Kashmir for its alleged failure to stop a terror attack on Amarnath Yatra Yatris.

He said that, this is a total failure of state authorities and needs to be clarified by the PDP and union government needs to examine the root cause of the issue.

He also suggested that, the Army should manage the Yatra, also the state to maintain peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

The VHP also holded nationwide protests, including one at Jantar Mantar here on Wednesday.

The attack which took place in Bortengo village near Amarnath district on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, killed seven and injured as many as 19.
