Vijay Goel begins ‘Adopt a Slum’ initiative today in New Delhi

Vijay Goel, who holds the Youth Affairs and Sports portfolio, has started the ‘Adopt A Slum’ campaign under which the BJP councillors will adopt and work for development of slums.

Vijay Goel also stated that, he himself has adopted a slum in Timarpura area for betterment of the youths.
He further said that, if this initiative turns into a positive initiative, would be extended across the country.
Ministry is also organising a race titled Slum Yuva Daud on May 26 to commemorate completion of three years of Modi government.
