Volunteers carry out first inspection of government schools

Om Prakash visited six schools in Sangam Vihar area and found teachers and principals working frantically to get things ready. “Principals are staying till five and six in the evening to get the work done,” he says. The 42-year-old school teacher was among 120 volunteers who have agreed to monitor the working of government schools; the group conducted the first round of inspection on Wednesday.
