New Delhi, 24th June 2023: Heavy rains lashed portions of Mumbai, Maharashtra, on Friday and Saturday, most likely due to the arrival of the southwest monsoon. On June 26-27, the India Meteorological Department issued a yellow signal for the city, signifying severe rainfall in isolated places.
The meteorological agency predicts that light to moderate rain may fall in isolated areas on Saturday in Raigad, Thane, Palghar and Mumbai districts.
