West Bengal rape case: Congress cautions Mamata, asks her to be ‘serious, strict’
New Delhi: Congress on Saturday cautioned West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over increasing rape incidents in the state during her tenure and asked her to be more ‘serious and strict’.
βIt’s increasing in the tenure of Mamata Banerjee ji, she should deal with it on a serious & strict basis,β Congress general secretary in charge of West Bengal Shakeel Ahmad told reporters here.
