Delhi: WHO chief visits All India Institute of Ayurveda, set to meet PM Modi in Gujarat today

New Delhi, 19th April: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus; Regional Director, WHO South-East Asia, Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh on Tuesday visited the All India Institute of Ayurveda in Delhi.

WHO DG Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, along with PM Modi, will attend the inauguration of the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Gujarat, later today. The GCTM will be the first and only global outpost centre for traditional medicine across the world.

This is the first of its kind center that’ll help the whole world to invest in traditional medicine, Tedros said at an event in Delhi.
