Wife gang-raped in front of her husband in UP

Badaun: A 27-year-old woman, who was returning along with her husband after purchasing medicines, was allegedly gang-raped in front of her husband in Sahaswan Police Station area of the district on Monday night. The three criminals, raped the woman after tying her husband to a tree and putting a gag on him, confirmed Circle Officer Sheoraj Singh here today. An FIR has been registered against the trio, hailing from nearby villages, based on a complaint filed by the woman’s husband. The woman has been sent for medical examination and efforts were on to nab the culprits, the police officer added. The three accused have been identified as Balistar Singh, Kamal Prakash and Upendra Singh.
