#YogiAdityanath takes police by surprise, inspects Lucknow’s Hazratganj police station

Lucknow, March 23: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday surprised policemen at Lucknow’s Hazratganj police station as he carried out an unplanned inspection. As he moved from one wing to the other, the policemen looked nervous. It is rare for a chief minister to visit a local police station. Yogi Adityanath had a discussion with senior police officers and tried to understand how the department works.

After the inspection, Yogi Adityanath said that it would not be the last inspection and more inspections in all the government departments would be carried out. He said the inspection was to understand how the police work. He said he discussed with the police how a cordial relationship between police and public can be forged. He also talked about improving the morale of police. He vowed that UP’s law and order would be made robust
