Caste-system existed for many ages, and it’s a reality. Even today it   hasn’t faded away- it affects the subconscious at the least by registering the caste of the other via surname. Strong networks within   castes ensured status quo- rich upper castes & poor lower castes.   However with enlightenment and discovering illogical nature of it, upliftment was sought and efforts made to wash away these existing   barriers.

While Addressing The Audience on the topic Reservation System in the Presence Of Firebrand Patidar leader Hardik Patel. Akshat Said, “Reservation should be provided to poor people not caste. Present Reservation system is dividing people in basis of caste which doesn’t help poverty reduction in our country. Reservation is not helpful for the general category people who are poor and intelligent. Talented people are not getting opportunity to prove themselves. Though they get opportunity but no help from government. India is loosing many talented people.”
