YouTuber MrBeast’s ‘7 Days Stranded at Sea’ Video Breaks Record Within 24hrs

Los Angeles(USA), 07/08/23: One name sticks out in the dynamic world of YouTube: Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast. With over 100 million views he has smashed the YouTube record for most views in 24 hours with a video in which he and his companions survive for a week on the high seas.

He poured his heart out to his supporters on X (previously Twitter), revealing how he’s fulfilling the fantasies he dared to imagine as a 13-year-old.

He wrote, “New video broke the world record for most views in 24 hours on a non music video! I’m living the life I would dream of every night when I was 13.. I love all of you and thank you so much for watching our videos!!! I’ll never take you all for granted.”

A snapshot of his ‘7 Days Stranded at Sea’ movie, in which MrBeast and his crew venture into unexplored waters, face hardships, and laugh amidst the waves, accompanied the statement. This video received a whopping 46 million views in its first 23 hours on YouTube.

Meanwhile, MrBeast exploited this milestone to refute opponents who allege that his opinions are purely motivated by monetary incentives. In his trademark witty style, he said, “Also, I don’t ever want to hear I only get view’s because I give away money. We broke the world record with me and my friends suffering and cracking jokes lol.”

This isn’t the first time MrBeast has made his mark in YouTube history. In 2021, he released his Squid Game-themed video, which became the fastest non-music video to gain 100 million views.

He recently surpassed the legendary PewDiePie as the individual creator with the highest cumulative channel views, earning a staggering 29,077,461,841 views as of July 25, 2023.
