AAP to gherao PM residence and Sonia Gandhi residence to demand justice.
The Aam Aadmi Party believes that there is no room for prevarication in the AgustaWestland scam. The Narendra Modi Govenrment should arrest Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel, S P Tyagi and all officials who have been named.
However there seems to be no intent to punish anyone from the Congress. It’s been two years but the Modi Government has failed to even act against Robert Vadra despite tall election claims. The nation is shocked that in a matter akin to Bofors Amit Shah is begging Sonia Gandhi to tell us about her role rather than arresting her.
BJP – Congress are together in all scams and the direct link between S P Tyagi and the BJP has been exposed.
AAP leader Ashutosh said that Narendra Modi has no intention of taking any action in the AgustaWestland scam. If he had any real intention Robert Vadra and Sonia Gandhi would have been in jail today. Usually he is quick to take action – when an AAP MLA’s wife complains he is sent to jail, if an AAP MLA tries to fight for a minor rape victim he is sent to jail, if he fights for a daily wage earner he is sent to jail, but in this matter of thousands of crores, of national security being put to risk, there is no jail! It is a complicit agreement between Narendra Modi and Sonia Gandhi to just enact a farce but no one will get punished.
In the first meeting of the newly formed Political Affairs Committee of the Aam Aadmi Party the AgustaWestland scam was discussed threadbare and it has been decided to raise the decibel ofbthe demand for justice by a protest on 7 May 2016. AAP volunteers from across the country will gather at Jantar Mantar and march to the houses of Narendra Modi and Sonia Gandhi.
1- We demand to know what the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government has done to investigate the Agusta Westland scam in the last two years? Why has none of the investigations been made public or even acted upon?
2- Why is the Modi Government pretending to be active and being falsely dramatic on the Agusta Westland scam, and that too only after the Appellate Court in Milan has named the guilty in their latest order? Why did the Modi Government not find any indictment Congress President Sonia Gandhi in two years of investigation?
3- Despite the Milan’s Court scathing judgment, why hasn’t the Modi Government and its CBI not initiated questioning or investigations against any Congress leaders?
4- Why is Amit Shah asking just dramatizing this entire scam by just asking “questions” from Sonia Gandhi? Does he believe that the CBI and Enforcement Directorate won’t be able to investigate or prosecute those indulging in corruption and misappropriation?
5- Does the Modi Government accept the Congress party’s demand to finish the investigation in 2 months and send the main culprits to jail? Or are they just colluding with the Congress behind closed doors and are just posturing and acting in public?
6- Does SP Tyagi have any links to the Vivekananda International Foundation? The Prime Minister should clarify if the the NSA Ajit Doval and SP Tyagi share a relationship that prevents him from being investigated or interrogated for any wrong doing?
AAP welcomes CIC orders
Narendra Modi removing the details of his degrees from the web site, and the refusal to respond to RTI requests by the Prime Minister’s Office, have triggered a speculation on the authenticity of his degrees.
AAP is hopeful that the orders of the CIC, in response to our letter, will shed some light on the matter. The nation has every right to know all details of the Prime Minister’s educational qualifications.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh pointed out that BJP leaders have a history of not having authentic degrees. Smriti Irani lied about her degrees, Ramashanker Katharia and many other ministers from Maharashtra and Goa lied about their degrees. Now there is a question on the Prime Ministers degrees themselves and it is shocking that he is not placing the facts about his degrees. The longer he takes to clarify the chances of people believing his degrees is diminishing.
