AAP Government launches “Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum Framework” in government schools

New Delhi: Delhi government has set up another milestone in the field of education. On February 13, Aam Aadmi Party led Delhi government launched “Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum Framework” in Delhi government schools at Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi.

The government’s move will helps the students in developing an entrepreneurial mindset and will enable them to explore business opportunities.

The mega launch event was joined by India’s prominent entrepreneurs including Flipkart’s co-founder Binny Bansal, MDH founder Padma Bhushan Mahashay Dharampal Gulati, founder of Krishna Pickles, Krishna Yadav.

Apart from entrepreneurs, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia, Principals and teachers of Delhi government schools and parents joined the event.

Sisodia also introduced the group of teachers who were tirelessly working on the curriculum from past several months.

Speaking to Ten News Flipkart’s co-founder Binny Bansal said, “I think the step is in the right direction, entrepreneurship mindset is really the need of hour, students with entrepreneur mindset will be more successful that those who don’t, I think it will be very very important for the kids to have this mindset as a step into the real world”.

Manish Sisodia speaking at the launch said, “our government will give one thousand per year to the students from class IX to XII and five thousand to the students who are pursuing who are pursuing higher studies in delhi government institutions after consulting it with the particular departments, through this money they can enhance their practical knowledge of entrepreneurship”.

Since the party was elected to power, Kejriwal’s government has taken several initiatives to transform Delhi’s government schools.
