Delhi based cyber expert Anuj Agarwal has been appointed as an advisor to Ministry of Home Affairs, to strengthen the components on Cyber Forensics in the existing syllabi of M.Sc.

Anuj Agarwal is the incumbent Chairman of Center for Research on Cyber Crime and Cyber Law. He expertise in the domain comes from a very long experience in the field and firsthand practical exposure.

He was appointed as an advisor through a Home Ministry notification dated July 17. The special committee formed by Ministry of Home Affairs would be chaired Professor Dr. B.N. Chattorat. The aim of the committee is  to provide digital evidence capture, preservation and presentation, digital forensics for criminal cases to succeed in Court of Law.

This special opportunity offered by Home Ministry isn’t his first tryst of partenering with government agency but in fact Anuj Agarwal consistently features as an expert panelist in cyber security talks and seminars organized by different agencies.

He is often invited by Central and State Government agencies as well as banks and cyber police departments to elaborate on various aspects of Cyber law, cyber security and how to stay safe and secure in the present digital era.

While talking to Ten News, cyber expert Anuj Agarwal said, “I am pleased to become a part of Ministry’s effort to upgrade the components of Cyber Forensics. It is indeed a great pleasure to be presented with such an opportunity to serve ones country. I will give my best efforts and ensure all possible assistance for betterment of our country and mankind as a whole”.

He further added,” Digital medium has a bright future, however there is a need of proper monitoring and with my available resources and capabilities I would try to fix the security patches of the medium”.
