Farmers from across country protest in New Delhi

All India Kissan Coordination Committee, an amalgam of various farmer unions, today staged a massive protest demonstration against the alleged high-handed of of the government.

Farmers who had been demanding loan waiver and implementation of Swaminathan recommendations, stir country wide protests after six protesting farmers were shot dead by police in Mandsour, Madya Pradesh.

Many farmers have committed suicide in face of the debts they couldn’t pay back.
