Mob Lynching signals a total breakdown of law and order: Shehla Rashid, student leader

Youth leaders including Tehseen Poonawala, Shehla Rashid, Kanhaiya Kumar and Jignesh Mevani jointly address a press conference on Monday to announce the launch of a sustained campaign against the cultural terrorism in the form of mob-lynching that is poisoning in the country and being encouraged by people in positions of power.

Student leader, Shehla Rashid, said that,  the way lynch mobs have taken over the country, signals a total breakdown of law and order situation, and this calls for urgent response on part of the central government. It is the government’s responsibility to ensure that law and order is upheld.
She added,  this is not a communal issue and it does not affect Muslims alone. Lynch mobs killed dairy farmers in Jewar and Alwar. An auto rickshaw driver who stopped people from urinating publicily was lynched in cold blood, Shehla Rashid told media on Monday.
While speaking on India Pakistan match issue,  she said, it must happen again and again.
