Model Police Stations Aims At Making Police People Friendly: Amulya Pattnaik, Police Commissioner, Delhi

The main aim of initiative is to bring an attitudinal and behavioural change among the police staff and change the way they work and behave with the public, said Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Amulya Pattnaik.

These two stations will now have the maximum number of senior officials such as inspectors, sub-inspectors (SIs), and assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) and lesser constabularies. But with this new officer- oriented policing concept, each of the two police stations will have seven inspectors, 40 sub-inspectors and over 60 assistant sub-inspectors, he added.

After this concept Delhi Police would be more compatible to serve mankind, told commissioner of Delhi.
