India’s Football U-17 coach Luis Norton de Matos while holding a special press conference in New Delhi on Thursday, clearly stated that, our possibilities are very small for the upcoming FIFA U-17 world cup.

However, he is targetting a quarterfinal finish in the upcoming World Cup and also dedicated towards motivating the boys for positive expansion in the sport. Coach is also looking to fill the gap between top countries and India.

Luis Norton de Matos was appointed as India’s coach after replacing Nicolai Adam in March . Since that time, Luis is focusing on improving the team with dedicated sessions for penalty shoots, as team India is considered as poor for the penalty shoots.

With the World Cup less than 100 days away, preparations have been going on in full swing and we need to be on our toes, he added.
