Republic Day Celebration at Gautam Buddha Nagar: Parade and school children performances enthralled audience at police line

G B Nagar: Gautam Budh Nagar administration celebrated Republic Day 2019 at district police lines where the national day was celebrated with much joy and fervour.
Union Minister, Dr Mahesh Sharma was the chief guest of the event while Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh, Greater-Noida MLA Tejpal Nagar and Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate, Brijesh Narayan Singh were the special guests.
The event witnessed a parade having participation of different police teams including fire squads, dog squads, bomb squads, UP 100 and Forensic teams.
The parade performed in utmost synchronization enthralled audience members.
R’Day ceremony began with the inspection of parade fleet by Union Minister Dr Mahesh Sharma who also received guard of honor at the occasion.
Thereafter the Parade begin with thumping beats of police drums and parade commander led different fleets through the salutation stage.
Several school children of Greater Noida Schools including Ryan International School demonstrated patriotic performances which got a lot of applaud from the audience.
School children of Ryan International School showcased martial art performance filled with patriotic message while the other school demonstrated a small play to spread awareness about “saving a girl child”
The chief guest Dr Sharma also rewarded the policemen with awards including Superintendent of police, Sudha Singh for their overwhelming, praiseworthy and distinguished service.
