New Delhi: All shops in Delhi are likely to remain shut on 2 and 3 February in protest against a sealing drive conducted by the municipal corporations in the national capital. The Confederation Of All India Traders (CAIT).
On The Other Hand, The AAP is of the clear view that traders of Delhi cannot be denied their right to livelihood due to the utter incompetence and prevalent corruption in the MCDs which is the main reason behind the ongoing sealing.
AAP MLA, Saurabh Bhardwaj Addressing Media on Sunday said, “Aap is deeply pained to see the condition of the traders in the wake of the sealing exercise being carried out by the civic bodies of the city. we are not confused about sealing. BJP is creating confusion from past some days. Sealing is happening because of Conversion taxes and Construction which is not under master plan. On 29th January we will continue our protest against the ongoing sealing drive, we will hold a protest march from Patel chowk metro station to Sansad Marg”.
