Sharmishta Mukherjee, New Chief of Delhi Mahila Congress Thanks Everyone for Blessings!

New Delhi: Congress President Rahul Gandhi Appointed Sharmistha Mukherjee as the new chief of the Delhi Mahila Congress Last Week. Sharmistha, daughter of former president Pranab Mukherjee Earlier was the chief spokesperson for the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee. She is also a classical dancer and a media panelist for the Congress.

The post of the Delhi unit of Mahila Congress fell vacant after Barkha Singh stepped down in April last year. Sai Anamika was made the working president of the Delhi Mahila Congress in May.

On Friday, Newly-appointed president of the Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress Sharmistha Mukherjee Addressed Delhi Mahila Congress workers and Media. Speaking to media Mukherjee said, Thank you Everyone for the blessings & guidance. Our strength is that our social media efforts are entirely organic and volunteer-based. We don’t have paid social media volunteers. We will fight & resist all threats & bullying tactics for the women in delhi.”
