New Delhi, 25th July.  Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari has condemned the Delhi Government for issuing a letter with veiled threats to pressurize the administrative officials to submit to its dictates. The letter has come to light just yesterday and was criticized by many as an oppressive measure.

Manoj Tiwari has said that it is shameful that Kejriwal Government is again trying to raise controversy over administrative work by officials despite the fact that both the Delhi High Court & the Central Government have sternly told it to work by constitutional provisions wherein the Lt. Governor of Delhi is the administrative authority in most matters

Delhi is a Union Territory and Shall function as one

Manoj Tiwari has said that the plea of massive mandate it got from the people in 2015 taken by Kejriwal Government Minister Satyendra Jain in his circular letter issued to Delhi Government officers to force them to report all matters to concerned Ministers is as a sick plea and is also in violation of constitutional provisions for administrative working in the Union Territory of Delhi. Right from the day he came to power Arvind Kejriwal has been trying to browbeat officials to promote his unconstitutional decisions on the plea of public mandate.

Delhi BJP President has said before raking up a fresh controversy on administrative decision making process, Arvind  Kejriwal Government should not forget the earlier directives of Delhi High Court in the matter. More over Kejriwal Government should also remember that the people whose mandate he has been claiming, the same people of Delhi only recently rejected the ruling Aam Aadmi Party during the municipal elections.

Shri Tiwari has asked the Kejriwal Government to stop creating ruckus over administrative provisions & threatening the Government officials and instead concentrate on public welfare works.
