Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb these days is in the news for more controversial statements than his work.

His statements are affecting the credibility of the party. Meanwhile, according to the sources, Tripura’s CM has been called to Delhi on Tuesday to meet Prime Minister and BJP President Amit Shah in Delhi.

Tripura’s CM meeting in Delhi comes in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi being reportedly upset with the leader for his remarks and had also asked BJP President Amit Shah to meet him.

Deb, who previously claimed to have internet in the Mahabharata era, gave a unique statement on Saturday. He said "After pursuing mechanical engineering one should not go for Civil Services. Instead, civil engineers should join Civil Services as they have the knowledge and experience to help build administration and society"

"Earlier, arts graduates used to appear for the Civil Services Examination and now, medical and engineering graduates are also joining the services.Civil Services aspirants should be all-rounders as "people who are experts in all disciplines have the highest demand", he added.

A day later, with a bizarre career advice to the jobless youth of his state, CM Deb said, "The youth here runs after political parties for several years to get a govt job & wastes the vital time of their life, had the same youth instead of running after parties set up a paan shop he would have by now had a bank balance of Rs 5 lakhs."

In another bizzare statement made few days back Biplab Deb had also targeted Miss World 1997 Diana Hayden, ‘Diana Hayden unworthy of crown, Diana’s crown a ‘pre-fixed plan’ said Tripura’s CM triggering another Controversy.

However seeing himself in between a full blown controversy after all these bizzare statemens Tripura’s CM Biplab Deb attempted to justify his ‘mechanical engineer should not go for civil services" thing and tried clearing the matter. He said, "I didn’t say mechanical engineers mustn’t go for civil service. I said that civil engineers should join civil services as they have experience about administration."
