10 cities in UP to be developed as smart and safe cities under the State Smart City Scheme

UP government takes Decision to develop 10 municipal corporations – Varanasi, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Ayodhya, Firozabad, Gorakhpur, Mathura-Vrindavan and Shahjahanpur as smart and safe cities under the State Smart City Scheme. Budget provision of ₹ 175 crores proposed in the budget of 2021-2022.
