Noida Authority tightens belts of builders and developers

Noida: In an attempt to provide relief to lakhs of homebuyers who are running from pillar to post to get their homes deliverred, the Noida Authority held a meeting with realty association CREDAI and 40 builders.
Noida Authority chairman and CEO Rama Raman directed CREDAI to put into place Public Grievance Cells within a month to keep communication channels open with buyers.
The builders were also reportedly directed to finish the residential projects and obtain completion certificates from the Authority.
Developers were advised to keep their new projects on hold for a while to complete the old ones.
