DPS Noida students suspended for ragging , NHRC sends notice to Chief Secretary Uttar Pradesh

Students of Class XII accused of ragging and beating up two Juniior Students  at DPS Noida’s hostel were suspended by the school on Wednesday. But shaken by the experience of his first week at the hostel, one of the two freshers – a 15-year-old from western UP who took admission in Class XI earlier this month – quit the school. He and a 16-year-old boy from Kolkata were beaten up inside the students’ mess at dinner time on May 9.  Meanwhile NHRC has sent notice to Chief Secretary Uttar Pradesh
