New Delhi, January 12: Amid the rise in Covid in the Capital with the positivity rate being reported at 25.65% on Tuesday, as many as 1,700 Delhi police personnel have contracted COVID-19 between January 1 and January 12.
Delhi Police on Wednesday said, “17,00 of its personnel tested positive for COVID-19 between January 1 and January 12.”
ANI reported, as per Delhi Police Sources, in the headquarters of Delhi Police, all those who have tested positive for COVID 19 have been advised to stay in home Isolation.
Moreover, a separate health desk has been formed for the policeman at Delhi Police Headquarters which is keeping information in regards to the health of all the policemen.
Delhi reported 21,259 new COVID cases on Wednesday, taking the active caseload tally in the Capital to 74,881.
