New Delhi (India), March 22, 2023: A young man has been found dead inside a hotel in North Delhi area on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as 24-year-old Nitesh, reportedly took his own life using a cylinder to overdose on oxygen.

According to authorities, Nitesh had booked a room in a hotel in the Adarsh Nagar district of North Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. Upon entering the room with a small bag in hand, he proceeded to cover his face with a plastic bag and attach a tube to a small oxygen cylinder.

Unfortunately, the overdose of oxygen proved fatal, and Nitesh was found lifeless in the room. Upon investigation, police found a suicide note in which Nitesh expressed his anguish over his prolonged illness and the financial strain it had placed on his family.

In his final moments, the young man stated his desire to relieve his loved ones of the burden of his medical expenses and decided to take his own life instead. Oxygen poisoning, a serious consequence of oxygen overdose, can cause the heart rate to drop to dangerously low levels and ultimately prove fatal.
