2,500 Delhi Police personnel contracted COVID-19 this year; 767 resume work

New Delhi, January 18: Around 2,500 Delhi Police personnel have contracted COVID-19 since January 1, 2022, of which 767 have recovered.

As per reports from PTI, A police official on Monday said, “As many as 2,500 Delhi Police personnel have tested positive for Covid-19 this year.”

Adding that, “Of these, 767 cops, including ACP (crime) and spokesperson Chinmoy Biswal, have already recovered and resumed work.”

According to a recent order issued by the commissioner of police, all police personnel and their eligible family members who have not been inoculated yet will be motivated to complete the vaccination process. It also said that all officials must self-monitor and immediately report to the daily health monitoring officer for any kind of illness.

Moreover, as per reports, a special camp is being organised to administer the booster doses to the eligible Police Officials.
