2nd International IEEE Conference on Disruptive Technologies at GL Bajaj Concludes with Global Insights & Scholarly Exchange

Greater Noida (19/03/2024): The valedictory ceremony of the 2nd International IEEE Conference on “Disruptive Technologies” was a momentous occasion hosted by the CSE department of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (GLBITM), on 16th March. Distinguished figures graced the event, including the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Professor JP Pandey, who presided as the chief guest. Additionally, Professor Prerna Gaur, Campus Director of NSUT West Campus, New Delhi, honored the ceremony as a special guest.

The gathering was further enriched by the insights of renowned personalities in the field, with Professor Anurag Singh, Dean of Research & Consultancy at NIT Delhi, Professor Arun Sharma, Dean of Academic Affairs at IGDTUW New Delhi, Professor Prabhakar Tiwari from MMMUT Gorakhpur, and Professor Alexios Karras from the University of Athens, Greece, gracing the occasion as keynote speakers. Their contributions provided invaluable perspectives on disruptive technologies, spanning domains such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, 3D Printing, and ML.

Throughout the final day of the conference, attendees were provided with a global platform for the exchange of knowledge and accomplishments in the realm of disruptive technologies. Scholars, practitioners, and industry experts engaged in spirited discussions, presenting their latest research papers and articles showcasing significant advancements. An impressive total of 1,113 research papers were submitted by academic scholars worldwide, reflecting the conference’s international appeal. From these submissions, a rigorous selection process led to the acceptance of 26 percent, totaling 300 research papers of exceptional quality.

In a poignant conclusion to the event, Dr. Manas Kumar Mishra, the director of the college, expressed gratitude by presenting mementos to the chief guest and special guests, acknowledging their invaluable contributions. He also extended heartfelt wishes for success to all participants, signifying the beginning of new endeavors in the realm of disruptive technologies.
