3-Day Indian Fashion Jewellery & Accessories show (IFJAS) set to open on 26th June

Greater Noida – 24th June 2023 – The 17th edition of the Indian Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Show – IFJAS 2023, organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) will open to overseas buyers, buying and sourcing professionals as well as domestic volume retail buyers on 26th June, 2023 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. This thoughtfully conceptualised sector exclusive show enthuses buyers from across the globe with numerous designs, styles and concepts brought alive by attractive visual merchandizing. Elegant and subtle adornments to individualistic accessories, bright, fun and art-inspired jewellery and accessories with new looks bringing in geometric shapes, contrasting materials and effects, indicate a full-blown trend of enigmatic and engaging designs at IFJAS.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General, EPCH and Chairman, IEML informed that this edition is composed of comprehensive product lines in namely Fashion Jewellery, Fashion Material & Jewellery Organisers, Fashion Accessories & Bags, Fashion Accessories & Bags, Leather Accessories and Footwear along with design and trend forecast theme pavilions, regional treasures, daily ramp sequences, live craft demonstrations among other collateral activities.
Adding further he said, 150+ manufacturers showcasing collections with manifestations of regional expertise, from Delhi, Agra, Noida, Mumbai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Moradabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Varanasi and all those cities as well as production clusters for fashion Jewellery & related products, make the trade appointment a unique opportunity for buyers to explore a well spread product range with fashion jewellery; semi-precious jewellery; belts & wallets; hand bags & purses; fashion accessories; head & hair Accessories; stoles & scarves; shawls; embroidered, beaded & sequined accessories and fancy footwear. Components too feature among sought after products at IFJAS as several importing communities from various markets prefer sourcing components for their jewellery products especially
from India. Among textile accessories there are scarves, stoles and shawls, enhanced by embroidery, different printing techniques, batik, tie & dye, applique, etc. Then there are exquisite collections of bags for all occasions and hand crafted footwear too. The increasing offerings of sustainable and eco-friendly products are much sought after.
Dileep Baid, Chairman, EPCH, informed, “This show is a step in the direction of our goal to achieve a threefold growth in handicraft exports by 2030 – “Teen Guna Tees Tak”. In order to give wide publicity, the Council has undertaken extensive digital promotion and publicity campaign all across the globe through advertisements and articles in International magazines, their digital publications, online portals, web banners etc. Further, Indian Embassies extended invitation to buyers and importers in their respective countries. The fair has been extensively publicised on social media as well. Among pre-registered buyers we note most of our patrons as well as several first time buyers.”

The India International Garment Fair – IIGF will be co-located and held concurrently. This is an apparel exclusive show by Apparel Export Promotion Council and the display compliments the product profile at IFJAS, giving the visiting buyers an opportunity for a crossover sourcing. Since garments and fashion accessories – and on many occasions fashion jewellery too, are displayed alongside, allowing consumers to complete ‘the look’, the concurrence will be advantageous for buyers and exhibitors of both the shows as they can explore new market linkages for growth and expansion.
Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts is a nodal agency for promotion of exports of handicrafts from the Country and create brand image of magic of the gifted hands of millions of artisans and craftspersons engaged in production of home, lifestyle, textiles, furniture and fashion jewellery & accessories products in different craft clusters of the Country. The overall Handicrafts exports during the year 2022-23 was Rs. 30,019.24 Crores (US $ 3,728.47 Million) and the exports of Fashion Jewellery & Accessories during the year 2022-23 was Rs 1854.97 Crores (US $ 230.39 Million) informed by R.
