4th Gas India Expo 2026 Opens at India Expo Mart, Showcasing Clean Energy Innovations

Greater Noida News (24 July 2026): The fourth edition of Gas India Expo 2026, one of India’s largest international exhibitions dedicated to the gas and clean energy industry, commenced on Thursday at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. The three-day event, running from July 23 to 25, has brought together industry leaders, policymakers, technology providers, and business professionals from across India and overseas to explore the latest developments in natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, industrial gases, and sustainable energy solutions.

With participation from more than 100 exhibitors and an expected footfall of over 5,000 business visitors, the exhibition is serving as a key platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and business collaborations within the rapidly evolving gas and energy ecosystem.

The expo was formally inaugurated by Shri Praveer Kumar Agrawal, Chairman of Central U.P. Gas Limited and Executive Director of GAIL (India) Limited. He was joined by Dr. Swadesh Kumar, CEO of Indian Exhibition Services (IES), Mr. N. K. Sehgal, Senior Advisor, along with senior industry representatives, exhibitors, delegates, and other distinguished guests.

A major attraction on the opening day was the 4th World Gas Summit 2026, organised by Indian Exhibition Services (IES) in collaboration with the International Confederation of Trade and Industry (ICTI). Held under the theme “Gas Systems: Efficiency, Safety & Sustainability,” the summit featured extensive discussions on strengthening India’s gas infrastructure while promoting cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.

Experts from leading organisations shared their perspectives on topics including hydrogen energy, city gas distribution, industrial gas technologies, logistics, safety standards, innovation, and sustainable development. Among the prominent speakers were Dr. Alok Sharma from the Hydrogen Association of India, Mohit Bhatia of Indraprastha Gas Limited, Dr. Umesh Srivastava from Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Lt. Col. Monish Ahuja of Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., C. Prabhakar Chakravarthy of Chakravarthy Gas Distribution Services Pvt. Ltd., Satish Singh of Ambetronics Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Prokash Roy from Transport Corporation of India (TCI Group), and Dr. Rajeev Mishra of IFEVA Green Energy Foundation.

The exhibition features a wide range of products, services, and technologies related to CNG, PNG, LNG, hydrogen, green hydrogen, biogas, bio-CNG, city gas distribution (CGD), industrial gases, cryogenic technologies, gas storage and transportation systems, safety equipment, and other allied industries. Exhibitors are showcasing cutting-edge innovations aimed at improving operational efficiency, enhancing safety, and supporting India’s transition toward cleaner energy.

Organisers said the event has been designed to facilitate meaningful interactions among manufacturers, EPC contractors, city gas distribution companies, investors, consultants, government agencies, and technology providers. The platform is expected to generate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and investment prospects while promoting innovation across the gas value chain.

The expo has been jointly organised by Indian Exhibition Services (IES) and the Indian Trade Fair Academy (ITFA) with support from the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. The event is backed by GAIL (India) Limited and Nilon Valves Pvt. Ltd. as Gold Partners, while Vibhu is the Vehicle Partner. Industry support has also been extended by organisations including the Indian Biogas Association (IBA), the Association of Welding Products Manufacturers (AWPM), the All India Association of Industries (AIAI), and several other industry associations and institutional partners.

The 4th Gas India Expo 2026 will continue until July 25, offering stakeholders from India and abroad an opportunity to explore emerging technologies, exchange industry knowledge, establish new partnerships, and discuss the future of India’s gas and clean energy sector.
