51st Edition of IHGF Delhi Fair-Spring 2021 deferred to 3rd week of May, 2021
NEW DELHI – 8th February’2021: The globally acclaimed IHGF Delhi Fair heading towards its 51st edition – in a physical mode at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. “The situation in India as far as COVID-19 is concerned is under control and in a much better position. Under the able leadership of the Prime Minister of India, the largest vaccination programme in the world as well as in India is started successfully and is poised to take on the challenge and overcome this unfortunate adversity. We understand the time of gloom is certainly going to be over and we have to look forward to a new dawn with great vigor, enthusiasm and energy,” said Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General-EPCH.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rakesh Kumar informed that based on the survey feedback from participants and overseas buyers, the Committee of Administration (COA) and Regional Coordinators of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), a decision has been taken to organize the 51st edition of IHGF Delhi Fair-Spring’2021 from 19th – 23rd MAY’2021 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, considering the significance of IHGF Delhi fair in business promotion and business generation.
Ravi K Passi, Chairman-EPCH informed that the Council will explore all possible opportunities to conduct the fair in the most friendly, business conducive and safe environment.
The Handicrafts exports during the year 2019-20 was Rs. 25,270.14 crores and during 1st nine months i.e April-December’2020-21 is Rs. 16940.98 Crores and USD 2268.58 Million informed, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General – EPCH.
