Greater Noida (22 October, 2024): The 58th IHGF Delhi Fair – Autumn 2024, organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), was held from October 16 to 20 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. This dynamic event concluded with tremendous success, showcasing the finest of India’s craftsmanship to an enthusiastic audience of international buyers. Known for attracting over 100 countries, this prestigious fair served as a vibrant platform for India’s leading manufacturers and award-winning artisans to display their diverse array of products, encompassing décor-utility, functional items, premium goods, and sustainable creations.

During the five-day event, the expo transformed into a bustling hub where buyers eagerly explored a plethora of products that highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage and innovative spirit. Attendees from various countries engaged in meaningful dialogues, with many expressing their admiration for the craftsmanship and creativity on display.

A representative from the USA shared their positive experiences, stating, “This fair has been a very positive experience for me. So many companies are gathered in one place, and the quality of products exhibited is exceptionally high.” This sentiment echoed throughout the venue, as many buyers voiced similar feelings of satisfaction. Another American attendee, who has been visiting the fair for over 15 years, remarked, “This is my favorite fair. Every time I come here, I find wonderful products, especially those made in India.”

Buyers from Argentina highlighted the event’s organization and quality, calling it “incredible.” They awarded the fair a perfect score of 10 out of 10 for the systematic way products were presented, reflecting the meticulous planning that EPCH brings to such a large-scale event. One Argentine buyer noted the impressive variety available across multiple halls, further emphasizing the extensive offerings that characterize this unique fair.

Saudi Arabian buyers, while noting that some products could use improvement, praised the overall experience, stating, “The variety of products here is impressive, and the quality has greatly exceeded our expectations.” Their feedback showcased a mix of constructive critique and appreciation for the fair’s scope, underlining the opportunities for both business and cultural exchange.

Nigerian attendees were equally taken with the venue and the creativity inherent in the showcased items. One buyer remarked, “The location of this fair is special in itself, and I am highly impressed by the quality and variety of products exhibited here.” They emphasized the talent of Indian artisans in crafting goods that not only appeal aesthetically but also carry the essence of Indian culture.

Australian buyers found the exhibits particularly attractive, expressing enthusiasm for both the business opportunities and the engaging atmosphere. One attendee stated, “Every product I saw was fantastic, and the organization was impeccable. I would rate it 10 out of 10 without hesitation.” Their positive feedback highlighted the fair’s role in fostering international business relationships while also celebrating the artistry involved.

A long-standing Turkish attendee reflected on their two-decade relationship with the fair, sharing, “We have been coming here for 20 years, and our experience has always been excellent. We’ve made many friends here, and we’ve never faced any quality issues in our dealings with Indian manufacturers.” This testament to the fair’s consistent quality reinforced its reputation as a cornerstone for international trade.

In addition to showcasing products, the fair also featured various seminars and workshops aimed at enhancing the skills of artisans and improving their market reach. These sessions attracted significant interest from buyers and exhibitors alike, contributing to the overall success of the event.
