6 NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HALLS AT INDIA EXPO CENTRE AND MART INNAUGRATED
India Expo Centre and Mart popularly known as India Expo Mart is one of its kind, state of art venue facilities for Exhibitions, Conferences, Trade Fairs and all kinds of Expositions. The facility also has permanent Showrooms also known as permanent Marts of Handicrafts and Cottage Sector Exporters.
The Centre was inaugurated in 2006 and has recently added 6 exhibition halls with assistance under ASIDE from Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.
The 58 Acre complex now boasts of 2.1 Million Square Feet of centrally Air-conditioned covered area. The venue also has 100% power back up and has state of art facilities at par with any international facility.
These newly constructed 6 halls at IEML with assistance under ASIDE from Government of Uttar Pradesh have been inaugurated today on March 14 at 10 am in a ceremony at Hotel The Ashok, Diplomatic Enclave, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Shri Nitin Agarwal, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge ) Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise and Export Promotion, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, was the chief guest and has unveiled the shilapat on the occasion, in the presence of, Shri Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Expo Centre and Mart, Dr. Rajneesh Dube, IAS Principal Secretary,Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh/Export Commissioner,Smt.Neena Sharma, IAS, Commissioner and Director Industries Govt. of U.P. and Mr. R. K. Singh ,Joint Export Commissioner, Export Promotion Bureau, Uttar Pradesh and other dignitaries from Uttar Pradesh Govt. and the handicraft export sector. Momentos were presented to Shri Nitin Aggarwal, Dr. Rajneesh Dubey, Smt Neena Sharma and Shri R. K. Singh on the occasion for their contribution to the cause of trade promotion.
It is also worthwhile to mention that the event coincided with a Buyer Seller Meet (Sourcing Meet of Primary Producer), Exporter Conclave and Award distribution ceremony. One of the important events related to export promotion i.e. launch of UP Export Promotion Council also took place at the same time.
