AAM AADMI PARTY GOVERNMENT HAS BECOME SYNONYM OF ANARCHY, NEPOTISM AND PROTECTOR OF LOOT & CORRUPTION

New Delhi, 18^th January.  Delhi BJP Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay and General Secretaries Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, Shri Ashish Sood & Smt. Rekha Gupta have in a Press Conference held at the party office today said thatAam Aadmi Party Government has become synonym of Anarchy, Nepotism and Protector of Loot & Corruption.

Shri Satish Upadhyay said that Aam Aadmi Party came to power by promising punishment to the corrupt, preventing loot of public money by the leaders and arbitrary implementation of Government schemes besides misleading the youth and women with promises of big schemes but after coming to power it has totally disappointed the people.

Shri Upadhyay said that the incident of throwing ink on the Chief Minister yesterday in a function organised by Delhi Government is condemnable but the attempt of the Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia to accuse BJP and Police for this incident is more condemnable.

Shri Upadhyay further said that BJP has never supported such anarchic politics but the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress Party have from time to time given political promotion to the people committing such anarchic acts. It was the Aam Aadmi Party which encouraged archaism in politics by promoting Jarnail Singh a Khalistani supporter to become an MLA who had thrown shoe at the then Finance Minister Shri P. Chidambaram. Similarly the Congress Party had also indulged in a low grade politics by promoting Bhola Pandey of Uttar Pradesh to the post of MLA who had hi-jacked a plane three decades ago.

Shri Upadhyay and the BJP General Secretaries said that the people of Delhi want to know, what was the purpose of the function held yesterday? It is surprising that the Party which came to power by opposing nepotism, loot of public money and arbitrary implementation Government schemes, today is doing all these things.

Will Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tell the people that who are those odd-even scheme volunteers and what is the purpose of advertisements for which about 100 crore rupees of public money was spent? After coming to power Kejriwal Government has appointed thousands of party workers on contract basis on Government jobs.Such favouritism has never been witnessed in Delhi.

Dy. Chief Minister of Delhi who has condemned the anarchy yesterday must answer whether the anarchy shown by the Aam Aadmi Party on the occasion of Republic Day celebration in January, 2014 is more serious than this incident? Will the Dy. Chief Minister condemn the MLA who had publicly insulted the Finance Minister? Many MLAs of this party have more than once assaulted Government employees and insulted the SC employees also. Will the Dy. Chief Minister condemn them?

Speaking on the issue raised by AAP leader Ashutosh about the security of the Chief Minister Shri Satish Upadhyay said that today the gimmick of not accepting security cover has been exposed. On the one hand AAP says that it does not want any security and on the other it expects the Delhi Police to provide security when they visit Punjab for political activities.

Shri Upadhyay also said that either Shri Ashutosh has no knowledge of the security protocol or he is shedding crocodile tears to mislead the people. There is no doubt that a Chief Minister gets security cover when he visits other state and it should be definitely given but according to the Government protocol the Chief Minister’s Office or the Home Department must inform the Government of other state in this regard. Shri Ashutosh has himself said that we do not demand security, Delhi Police has provided security. Hence Shri Ashutosh will have to understand that Delhi Police has provided security in Delhi not in other states.

Shri Upadhyay demanded that after raising this issue by Shri Ashutosh now the Government should clarify that whether the Chief Minister Office provides information to the Delhi Police about the programmes of the Chief Minister’s regularly or he expects only security from them? Had the Delhi Police and Punjab Police been informed before his Punjab visit? He also said that raising the issue of security by AAP leader Ashutosh is condemnable, seems that they want Black Cat Commando protection.

Shri Upadhyay and the General Secretaries said that before coming to power in February, 2015, speaking on the issue of corruption was the greatest claim of the Aam Aadmi Party but what the Delhi has witnessed after the AAP coming to power is harsh reality. The truth of Shri Arvind Kejriwal who had shown to the press 370 pages report against the corruption of Sheila Dikshit Government was exposed before the people when in 2014 he have formed Government with the support of the Congress Party is now after one year in power has not taken any action against the corruption of Sheila Dikshit Government.

The corrupt officers during the Congress rule continue to be the Head of Departments under Kejriwal Government. In such circumstances it would not be possible to take action in the scams but it is surprising that thepeople who had initiated campaign against corruption have created record of scams within a year. The examples are recruitment scam, onion scam, ration scam, auto permit bungling, Advt. bungling, distribution of CNG labels in the name of odd-even scheme.
