PSU bank strike affects businesses, public

The adverse effects of the two-day public sector banks’ strike were felt in Noida on Monday following the complete breakdown in banking services. Businesses were hit as all branches of public sector banks stayed shut, stalling financial transactions and obstructing clearance of cheques.

The general public has been affected by the strike as well because of non-clearance of cheques and ATMs going dry.
